Shimotomisaka Kodokan

Built in 1906, the new Kodokan doubled the size of the the Fujimi-cho Kodokan. Consisting of 207 tatami, 335 square meters, the Kodokan Foundation was organized here, and Kano's reputation as the foremost exponent of Budo in Japan was firmly established.
